About the Clock Maker: Henri JACOT was one of the great Parisian Carriage Clock makers of the 19th century. His father (also Henri) founded the business. He developed his own tools and machinery so as to be able to make some of his own components, as well as relying on outsourced suppliers. The quality and beauty of his workmanship helped make his clocks some of the most highly sought-after carriage clocks on the market.
