This piece will honestly leave you speechless, firstly, it is enormous, both in width and depth, all the timber is hand carved from solid slabs of mahogany, there are brass fittings along the sides of the drawers, I'm not actually sure what they do, this piece seats 12 with ease, it breaks into three pieces for the top and the legs are all removable so it is very easy to transport and install
The locks have various stamps, one of which is pictured and is stamped GR Under the crown for George Rex who was a George II & George III locksmith, its also stamped Barrons Patant who were well known suppliers to Gillows of Lancaster

In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the piece will have normal age and use related patina marks here and there
