Description

A really good example of these wonderful dog collars.

This one is engraved all around with a blank cartouche for the name of the dog. The inside is lined with red Morocco leather and written in ink is “3/6” which I guess was the purchase price back in the 19th century.

The padlock works by moving the panel on one side of the padlock and then pulling up on the hasp to unlock it.

It is in super condition and most likely made from “German Silver” which is a nickel alloy.
