A Fine Victorian Garden Seat Circa 1880

19th century
Description

A fine victorian garden seat circa 1880 removed from the grounds of a derelict country house, (now demolished), near northam, north devon.

This beautiful seat has been restored in our workshops and is newly enamelled and fitted with u.v. Treated and water proofed hard wood slats. The ends are heavy cast iron made in a naturalistic woodland timber style. Possibly coalbrookdale.

It is remarkably comfortable and ready for use.

Dimensions.

Length. 76 inches. (6 foot 4 inches).

Front to back at deepest point. 32 inches.

Height. 36 inches.

A really beautiful piece of victorian garden sculpture with a very practical purpose.
