A Pair of French Arts and Crafts Salon or Library Leather Chairs

These beautiful chairs are upholstered in soft leather upholstery, they date back to around 1880, and showing only very slight signs of wear, they stand on elegant turned and fluted legs

The chairs have deep sprung seats and a buttoned back, the leather is brass studded and the upholstered arms have a carved decoration at the front

A very elegant pair

The chair backs are 41” high, the front is 27” wide, 24” deep
