Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a solid 9ct gold case and bracelet set with diamonds and deep blue sapphires.
The winding crown is also set with a cabouchon sapphire to complete the look.
The double snake design bracelet is of solid 9ct white gold and it just simply glides around the wrist. it has a London hallmark for 1951
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6.3/4 inches or 173mm
The case measures 14mm wide excluding the winding crown.
It is quite stunning with its fully restored white silver dial which is in perfect as new condition. A new glass has been fitted and the watch professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The fully serviced 17 jewel movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Girard Perregaux the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady.
