Elegant Art Deco Silver Cigarette Case by John Henry Wynn , Birmingham 1929

1920 - 1940
Description

This decorative silver cigarette case has a good silver gauge, testimony of its quality. The slightly curved square-shaped body profusely engraved with foliate scrolls. The front with vacant reserve, the sloping sides engraved with fluted decorations. The push button to the front opening to reveal agGilt interior complete with the original elastic band ( a little loose) for holding in the cigarettes. Inner case hallmarked on both sides.

J.H.W for John Henry Wynn

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "E" for 1929.

Dimensions:

8cm x 8cm / 3.2 inches x 3.2 inches.
