A fine pair of late 19th French ormolu (gilt bronze) curtain supports or tie backs c1880. This good quality pair of curtain supports can be affixed to the wall by the classical rectangular bar backed wall mounts, from which hang the curved curtain supports, which terminate in ornate finials, modelled as curtain swags and oak leaves. In very good condition and ready for use.
