The cushion cut sapphire in the centre � certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) � displays a slight colour change from purple in incandescent light to blue in daylight. The sapphire is flanked by a pair of old European cut diamonds in box-settings, within an ornately pierced and milgrained gallery, to a flat white gold shank.Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.Cut � Cushion cut sapphire in the centre and old European cut diamonds either side.Colour � The diamonds are I to J.Clarity � The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are SI2.Carat � The sapphire is approximately 2.60 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.40 carat.Circa � 1940.Size � L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.Measurements � The sapphire is approximately 8.3 x 6.6mm.
