This is a very rare deluxe dial combination and being a solid white gold dial it will never deteriorate
As you would expect from Universal the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
It has the very desirable slimline 25 jewel calibre 66 micro rotor movement which is recorded as the thinnest automatic movement ever made. This was a big step forward in the development of the slimline automatic dress watch, by sinking the winding rotor into the movement Universal were able to produce the first truly slimline automatic dress watch.
This is exceptional example and looks as though it has been kept in a box its whole life and never worn, a rare find indeed.
Universal are one of the most exclusive makers and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case measures 35mm in diameter not including the crown which is quite large for a dress watch.
