Description

An 18th Century mahogany Scottish Tipstaff

The ends of tipstaff are decorated with silver, with brightcut decoration to the edges.

The smaller end carries contemporary initials for the original owner.

The centre of the tipstaff has been decorated with incised lines which over the years have worn.

Great patination, it is wonderful to pick up and handle.
