A 19th.Century mahogany 2 part campaign chest of unusual configuration having a secretaire drawer. The top section with 2 short and 1 wide drawer. The lower section with 2 wide drawers and all with original, good quality sunken brass millitary handles and protective corner fittings. The secretaire drawer having 2 small and 1 larger boxwood drawers flanked by 2 pigeonholes. This chest benefits from 4 working locks with keys (1 lock not working). Condition- good with several old battle scars due to age and use, all visible in the photos. Dimensions- Height…39’’/ 99cm. Width...39’’/ 99cm. Depth... 18’’/ 46cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £65.
