A late Victorian tea caddy of ovoid form with a stunning carved domed lid topped with a turned Ivory finial.

The front is inlaid with an Sadeli style Ivory garland and a shield shaped escutcheon which houses the working key.

The interior has it's original paper lining and the underside it's original green baize.

A really splendid and unusual addition to your collection in excellent condition, measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/8" x 5" tall to top of finial.
