Description

A most interesting 18th century hand coloured print with satin flower and lace embellishments to the dress, feathers to the hair and highlighted wig. Small steel sequins used for the jewellery.

Along the base of the picture it reads “I Roberts Del, Publised for Bells British Theatre July 17th 1777, Thornwaithe.”

To the reverse a label reads “Mrs Buckley in the Character of Lady Dainty. Etc….”

The print is in very good order. The frame could well be original but does have wear, clearly seen in the photographs.
