A delightful Victorian silver christening mug or tankard with clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1896 and makers mark for renowned silversmiths Atkin Brothers. This Victorian piece is beautifully modelled with a deep gadrooned pattern around the lower body, which reflects in the outswept base. The mug is also adorned with an exquisite scrolled handle. The proportions are pleasing and condition is excellent.
