The gold workmanship on this brooch is particularly delightful - despite the relatively small size and area to work with, each section has been embellished with filigree-like rope twist rings and borders.
Furthermore, the manner in which the half-torus-shaped mount seamlessly blends into the other parts forming an aesthetically pleasing proportion is beautiful in terms of geometric design.

Condition: Fair antique condition - overall the brooch's appearance is good and due to its small size, unless inspected carefully looks visually great from the front. The rear has has some restoration where the pin and mount have solders as shown in the photo showing the rear of the brooch.
