The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely. The movement has beautifully patterned plates, screw set jewels and a Church 1892 patent regulator. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 12271113 which dates it back to 1903. The movement is all protected by an inner hinged cover which has light marking from use.
The watch measures 51.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled and is the J Boss model made by the Keystone watch case company.
. The case is in nicer condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
