1 Fine Art Antique Victorian Original 19th Century Oil Painting 2 Sporting Hunting Terrier Dogs "Ratting" George Armfield C1867.

Subject Hunting scene of 2 Terrier Dogs who are on the scent of a rat who is out of sight just past the basket on the floor.

Title "Terriers Ratting"

Signed in the bottom left corner by the known famous British listed artist George Armfield.

This is a fine example of his work.

A nice small size with the frame being 20 cm high and 22.5 cm wide.

Circa 19th century dated 1867.

Oil on board.

Set in a fine traditional gilt wood frame.

George Armfield 1808-1893 a loved familiar established artist from the United Kingdom, he adored painting animals for example like dogs.

Cheshire Antiques Consultant LTD operates on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis which means that the International buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes & customs clearance charges and any other customs charges which may be necessary to release an order from international customs.

Following the UK leaving the EU on 1st January 2021 (BREXIT) there have been some changes to customs & duty charges for EU customers. Tax and import duty varies from country to country so we recommend you check with your local tax office to see if any fees will be payable.

If the customer refuses to pay any duty and customs charges and the parcel is returned to sender all shipping charges will be deducted from any refund.
