Rare early 18th century lead tobacco box of oblong octagonal form and complete with interior lid having sphinx handle. The domed lid with scrolling serpent handle and all standing on claw feet. In completely un-touched original condion. Great patina.

Size; 7" high overall, 6" wide, 4,5" deep.
