Antique Persian Sarouk rug of boteh design with a soft colour palette.

Circa 1900-20.

A very pleasing rug with rows of floral boteh set on an ivory ground, the corners are in herati design in a soft terracotta red. The floral border in light indigo blue frames the rug well. A very pleasing rug that has an overall soft feel.

The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
