Pair of Carved Limewood Wall Brackets

Description

Circa 1870. A quality pair of Rococo style Mid-Victorian limewood wall brackets. Circular tops with a flat section and moulded fore edge resting on a scrolling foliate arm with leaves which are pierced. The base has a curved section and finishes with another pierced leaf, with wonderful colour and crisp carving, the brackets are attached by a pair of brass brackets to the wall.
