Late 18th / Early 19th Century Carved Gilt Framed Oval Mirror

A good late 18th / early 19th century (George III) gilt framed oval wall mirror, having a carved pediment depicting ferns, convolvulus, and foxgloves, with twisting and scrolling Acanthus leaves making up two candle holders to the base. The moulded frame consists of gilt gesso diamond patterned panels bordered with egg and dart decoration to the extremity. A very pretty mirror.
 
The mirror retains its original mirror plate which displays a little foxing. There are back boards and a chain, for hanging, to the rear.
