Grand Regency Revival Mahogany Twin Pedestal Dining Table

A fantastic solid Mahogany extending table which can seat up to 12 people.

We bring to you the most marvellous example of a Regency revival solid Mahogany twin pedestal substantial size table believed to be made around C1900.

The table retains its 2 additional leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This table can manage to accommodate from 4 up to comfortably 12 chairs. The table can be used as a formal dining room table and additionally could be useful as 2 Demi-lune tables placed against a wall in a large hall when not in use.

The table extends via 6 brass table forks with 2 sliding supporting rails to the underside with location slides on the underside of the D ends.

The table tops are fixed to the base via 8 brass headed table screws which thread into the head stock of the base.

The fantastic twin pedestals bases comprise of 2 substantial beautifully shaped barrel turned pillars which each descend to 3 sweeping sabre legs culminating to heavy duty Brass toe castors.

This lovely table has been through our workshop having the top re-polished meaning the condition is almost flawless with a lovely highly glazed traditionally polished finish and rich Mahogany colour.

This item is in outstanding restored condition as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
