Exquisite French Jewelry Cabinet - North African Inspired - Inlaid Rosewood C.1900

Description

This wonderful small jewellery box is a jewel itself; French in origin with a clear North African design.

The quality is exceptional made from exotic and expensive Rosewood with fine brass filigree inlay together with Mother of Pearl. All the sides are finished in a solid brass rounded trim.

There is a fall-front which reveals an interior as superb as the exterior, even the inside of the fall-front is inlaid. There are three drawers, two smaller and one larger, again exquisitely inlaid with small brass handles. The interior is all original lined in blue velvet.

Complete with a working key, this gem remains in superb condition. 4 3/42 wide x 3 7/8" x 4 3/4" tall to top of carrying handle.
