This silver fiddle and thread cutlery set would be perfect to use and would grace any dining table. The fiddle and thread pattern tends to feel heavier in the hand than the plainer fiddle style and adds a little more detail. It sits neatly in a fitted mahogany canteen box which ha
...s been re-lined to make it look more presentable. The replacement silver handled knives with stainless steel blades are dated for 1994 and match the cutlery perfectly. There are 87 pieces in total.
Height of box: 22.5 cms (8.9'')
Length of box: 44.5 cms (17.5'')
Width of box: 32 cms (12.6'')
Weight (without the knives): 131.7 troy ounces (4,097 grams)
This set was hallmarked in London between 1841 - 1875 by George Adams.
Complimentary postage is included within the price of this canteen of cutlery.
