The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Rolex Lever, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1921 with a case maker for Aaron Dennison. Dennisons was a Birmingham based case maker who supplied many watch makers including Rolex. The case is in super condition and the engine turned detail to the back of the watch is still nice and crisp.

The glass lens has very light marks across it, difficult to see with the naked eye.

Rolex often left the dials blank so that the retailer could add their own details and this dial is indeed signed with the name of the original retailer, J Telford of Keswick, listed as a watch maker, jeweller and mineralogist. The dial is in beautiful condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
