Beautiful mid 19th century oil on canvas American Folk Art still life painting of fruit on a table. The painting is in good order although it could do with a light clean. It has not been relined or repaired.
We are not sure of the artist but it is very much in the style of some of the Peale family of painters operating in America from the early 19th to the late 19th century.
