Choice mahogany case veneers with canted case sides. A well engraved silvered register plate signed 'Dolland, London'. A vernier slide adjuster to mark the rise & fall in air pressure shown from 27-31". The original cistern cover.

Dolland of London are noted makers and are documented and illustrated in the barometer books. This example dates to circa 1830. The family of instrument makers were working from around 1750.
