Rare Silver Plated Coffee Set - Art Deco Style

1920 - 1940
Description

A fine and unusual 3 piece coffee set of highly stylised ovoid form. Marked for EPNS and in the Art Deco style and dating to c1930. All three pieces stand on four stylised feet and have attached hinged lids. The coffee pot has an ebonised wooden handle and finial.

The condition is very good overall with no dents or splits. The plating is in good order with just a couple of small stubborn black spots largely to the underside of the coffee pot. Very slight wear to the handle.

Total weight approx 1.4kg

Coffe pot - height approx 22cm. Span approx 23cm

Sugar Bowl - height approx 17cm

Milk Jug - height approx 17cm.
