Description

Gents 1950s Coby wrist watch by Cauny.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is some marking and wear to the plate but it all looks good to the naked eye. The case back is signed with the Coby name, a brand name registered by Mireille Grebler, founder of Cauny Watch Company, in 1943.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in lovely condition with original hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
