A fine Worcester porcelain fluted coffee cup and saucer with scalloped rim and the cup with a bifurcated Meissen style handle with acanthus leaf moulded terminals. Painted with a ''hop trellis'' pattern after a Sevres original, with over-gilt decoration and gilt rims and handle detail. Unmarked, c.1775.

The saucer measures 13.7cm (5 3/8'') wide and 2.5cm (1'') high and the cup measures 6.3cm (2 1/2'') high and 6.3cm (2 1/2'') rim to rim.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Minor handling wear to the gilt on the rims and the centre of the saucer.
