George V Silver Trinket Box 1919

Description

This superb SILVER TRINKET BOX was made by the well-known and sought-after silversmiths of Saunders & Shepherd in 1919.

Of circular form standing on three decorative legs and with engine turned decoration to the lid, this fabulous Silver Trinket Box has a hinged lid with a central blank cartouche. Internally it retains the original velvet lining.

In excellent condition with no holes or splits or added engravings, monograms or initials this stunning Silver Trinket Box would look superb in any setting or would enhance any silver collection.

Dimensions:

Diameter – 2.25” (57mm) / Height – 1.5” (38mm)

Weight – 67gm / 2.15ozt (incl. lining)
