Antique French Carved Oak Double Bed and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality solid oak it has reeded sides to the headboard with moulded top rail above beautifully carved flora and vine swags above their panels separated by reeded moulding. The footboard has reeded sides and with moulded top rail above three panels separated by reeded moulding and to the centre is a squared carved panel and the panels above a reeded frieze. It is raised on turned legs and has its original reeded side rails. It takes a standard double Mattress.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
