Description

Circa 1880. Georgian-style gilded walnut tall cheval mirror. The tall mirror within a shaped crossbanded and gilded frame, surmounted by shaped pediment with gilded eagle and over apron with gilded scallop shell decoration, on finely turned supports with turned finials. Beneath are shaped stretchers and supported on fluted cabriole legs with pad feet. Unusual style and in excellent condition.
