Danish Silver Arts & Crafts Buckle

1900 - 1920
Description

A super example of Danish Arts & Crafts silver buckle.

This bears the makers mark for William Fuglede who was part of “Skonvirke”, the Danish Arts & Crafts movement, active between 1907-1937. This buckle dates to the beginning of that period.

830s silver, set with butterscotch amber, central amethyst, and chrysoprase.

Stunning piece of work and condition is excellent.

Can’t work out is there would have been another chrysoprase at the top of the buckle.
