A Fine quality music cabinet in an amazing original condition.
This lovely cabinet unusually features a burr Yew wood border with Boxwood inlays to the top which carries on throughout the piece in stringing form. This simple yet elegant cabinet is in fantastic original condition featuring its original beautiful lightly faded French polished finish and Walnut colour. The cabinet is complete with its original hand floated glass which sits in its moulded framed door that is lockable via its original brass lock and key behind its brass escutcheon. The door is flanked either side by its lovely canted corners which is a theme throughout the piece . Opening the door reveals its canted leather front shelf and triple divided compartment for 78 rpm gramophone vinyls underneath.

We have sympathetically restored, carefully cleaned and waxed this cabinet, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen and the item is ready for its new home.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.

Items placed on or around the cabinet are not included in the sale
