An Art Deco Silver Plated Cocktail Shaker & Measure

1920 - 1940
Description

A handsome and sought after silver plated cocktail shaker from the Art Deco period. The body is stylishly oval in shape, with tapering body and removable cap and top. The companion piece is a silver plated measure, with reeded bands. With the current trend for cocktails, these would make a great 'ready to go' bar accessory. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, the silver plate is in good condition. A shallow dint to the side of the shaker under the band and some wear to the inside of the measure, all commensurate with age and use.

Date :- Circa 1930.

Marks :- Shaker marked Reg. Plated E.P.N.S Made in England. Measure marked 'Bonza', a crown and 290. A 74 stamp and 1/3 Gill measure mark also marked to the measure.

Origin :- English.

Height :- 22 cms.

Diameter (widest point) :- 10 cms.

Measure :- Height 6.1 cms. Diameter 4.2 cms.
