In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

An artists materials table is a specialised piece of studio furniture designed during the nineteenth century to store pigments, brushes, and art supplies within easy reach of a painter.

Victorian studio furniture was commonly constructed from durable hardwoods such as English oak or mahogany, often featuring dovetail drawer joints, iron or brass fittings, and turned column details.

Authentic pieces often feature specialised compartmentalised drawers, original maker stamps or brass badges, historic surface wear consistent with studio use, and period-appropriate hand-cut joinery.

These compact cabinets function well as side tables, bedside storage, or hall accents, where the warm wood tones and historic character complement contemporary minimalist or classic decor schemes.

Clean surfaces using a soft dry cloth and apply a high-quality beeswax polish periodically along the wood grain to preserve the finish and prevent the timber from drying out.
