The stone ‘floats’ within a halo of twenty-four rose cut diamonds set in platinum with fancy embellishments at the shoulders. Beautifully scrolling detail in the gallery leads to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cut ruby with rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The ruby is approximately 2.87 carat with an approximate diamond weight of 0.50 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Condition – There is a chip to the underside of the ruby. Although not visible when on the finger, it’s worth mentioning
Measurements – The ruby in the centre, including the rubover setting, is 12.55 x 8.6mm. The head of the ring is 19.2 x 18.75mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow and platinum. Tested.
