Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
It has a single drawer with fancy embossed copper handles which locks and comes with a key. Below the drawer is an open shelf and it stands on shaped stile feet. With its stylish original knob handles the roll top opens to reveal pigeon holes to the interior and it locks and comes with a key. A nice sized bureau, in beautifully figured solid oak, it would work well in a hall or living room as an occasional desk.

Good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. A few small splits to the oak. Roll top a little stiff – sometimes takes a couple of shoves to open.
