Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Raised on a plinth base with four castors and a decoratively shaped apron to the front. Brilliant colour and grain throughout, with decorative inlaid detail to the front and top. The matching mirror is of oval form with an inlaid mahogany moulded frame, fitted with a hanging chain to the back. Maker’s mark to the inside of the top right drawer (pictured).

Item Ref; M-4684
DIMENSIONS:
Chest of Drawers: Height – 78.5cm / Width – 115cm / Depth – 51cm
Mirror: Height - 89cm / Width 58cm / Depth - 4.5cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top and sides (pictured), also a split to the left side (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the chest of drawers. There are also age-related marks, dents, scratches and splits to the mahogany frame of the mirror, also foxing to the mirror glass in places (pictured). The inlaid mahogany chest of drawers and matching mirror remain structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well and the glass all intact. Overall, a good clean example.
