Large Antique English Sterling Silver - Seven Rings - 1907

Description

A wonderful Edwardian ring box, larger than most and accommodating seven rings in the blue velvet lined interior.

A very elegant oval shape with an decorative engraved lid, with a pretty ribbon & bow topped garland surrounding a central oval cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired. The outer border of the lid is engraved with a continuous decorative design.

The box is hallmarked for Sheffield 1907, together with the makers initials J.D & S for renowned silversmith, James Dixon & Sons.

Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1" tall.
