Georgian London Bracket Clock

Description

A fine quality London bracket clock of small proportions. A pad top with brass handle. Fishscale front and side sound fretwork. A concave bezel with convex glass. Well cut brass hands to the convex dial. Ogee brass feet. A quality twin fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell with strike/silent and an engraved backplate signed 'S & C Joyce, Lombard Street, London and to the dial. Circa 1805.
