Georgian Antique Mahogany Birdcage Tilt Top Table

An attractive Georgian antique mahogany birdcage tilt top table. The antique table has a circular shaped top, which is raised on a turned pedestal with a tripod base. The top can be tilted upright for storage purposes, and has a 90 degree rotation. A rather neat example, with wonderful patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and fading to the top (pictured), further scratches and splits to the legs (pictured). There are losses to one of the feet (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique tilt top table remains structurally solid and sound, with the rotating birdcage mechanism working well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
