Painted Arch Top Dressing Mirror - Victorian - c1870

A gorgeous example of a Painted Victorian Dressing Mirror.

This large-sized piece is in great order throughout and benefits from a pull-out front jewellery drawer with exquisitely detailed little handle. Original bronze hinge fittings are all fully functioning.

The cream painted frame looks lovely against the contrasting gilt carved detailing. The mirror plate is later and therefore has none of the hazed areas usually associated with mirrors of this age and is very functional.

Overall a nicely proportioned, hugely stylish, clean mirror in good order. Very unusual in this condition.
