Small Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table C.1830

19th century
Description

Early 19th.c. French marble top gueridon centre table c.1830. A little smaller than many we see, just 32" diameter. Slim top in black marble with tiny fossils embedded within over a mahogany veneered apron. Raised on a broad tapering flame mahogany veneered column and tricorn plinth with neat little wooden castors below. Some light scratches to the marble and repairs to the veneers on the plinth. Otherwise good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
