Description

Charming mid 19th.c. North Wales oak cwpwrdd gwydr or glazed kitchen cupboard c.1840. Two door glazed display bookcase top fitted inside with two shelves (depth 9½") over a deeper base with one large drawer and and two door cupboard below fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 14"). Moulded cornice over a simple inlaid frieze featuring the diamond and circle detail associated with furniture produced in the Anglesey market town of Talwrn in the early 19th.c. Oak front with attractive pointed arch glazing bars, a shaped drawer front and double panels to the cupboard doors. Raised on the original tall bracket feet front and rear. Pine sides and backboards. Very good condition and attractive pale colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
