Description

A good watkins and doncaster deal and mahogany 16 drawer collectors cabinet circa 1890.

Supplied originally from the strand address and then subsequently from the welling address this cabinet is in good working condition and a good example of it's kind.

Original lock and key, glass door panel, hinges and closley fititng glazed frame lift off tops to all drawers. Drawers base lined with a layer of cork and papered.

This cabinet was designed to house and display a collection of british butterflies but will lend itself to a multitude of collecting pursuits now.

Height. 42.5 inches.

Width. 20.5 inches.

Front to back. 18.75 inches.

Drawers.

Width. 17 inches.

Front to back. 15.25 inches.

Overall depth. 2 inches. (to accommodate imperial pin sizes).
