Description

A smaller proportioned Victorian drop dial wall clock. A walnut case with choice veneers and a brass bezel surround. A 10" painted dial with the original patina signed 'Camerer Kuss & Co, 56 New Oxford St. London'. Blued steel hands. An 8-day duration timepiece W & H mechanism. A lovely provenance with the original makers label. Circa 1885.

The Camerer Kuss partnership was founded in Bloomsbury In 1788. They opened a retail outlet and workshop at 56, New Oxford Street in 1867.
