Early Oak Carved Back Side Chair Circa 1685

Description

Fine example of a South Lancashire carved high back single chair with arched back and having two finely carved panels one with the Lancashire rose. Paneled oak seat and raised on turned legs with turned front stretcher and plain side stretchers, All in superb condition with no breaks and all is solid and firm. Great deep rich colour with wonderful waxed patina.

Size; 47" high, 17" wide, 17" deep. Seat height 18".
